As I mentioned the 5 of us spent last week at the cottage, relaxing & having fun! Now the weather wasn't the most cooperative, lots of clouds and rain....but still we made the most of it. This is the first year that ALL 3 kids have really enjoyed swimming in the lake, hey they're one step ahead of me, that water is COLD!
LOL It's also the first year that the Big Z was old enough to enjoy some of the more 'adult' board games, Chess, Battleship and the Game of Life!

Our favorite night time activity when we're at the cottage or camping is to have a bonfire...with marshmallows &
smores of course!! I really wish I knew how to get a video on here that I took with my camera because Mike does this really funny 'Fire' dance, it started last year as a spontaneous moment but the kids love it that they begged him to do it again!!!
These next photos were taken down at the big landing docks that are used by the people on the lake that only have water access. We take the kids down here to throw rocks in the water, but the scenery is beautiful too! On the left side is a marsh with a really large beaver dam, we like to take the canoe through there, it's quite pretty.
That's all for tonight, I'm off to watch the 3rd Indiana Jones movie!!
