Success!!!!

Ok before I get into my gushing proud Mom moment here's a little background: Big Z is and has always been a cautious soul, I mean it took his little sister climbing everything for him to figure it out........that's just him! A couple years ago when Big Z was almost 6 we decided it was time to get rid of the training wheels on his bike...he wasn't too sure about that but gave it a go anyway. He ended up having a spill, like all kids do, and that freaked him out and he decided he would NEVER ride a bike again!! So what's a parent to do?? We tried over the 2 years to get him back on the bike, nope wasn't going to do it.

Well Big Z was watching his little sister learn (she's almost got it), and he decided maybe he'd give it another shot. All it took was one night in a field (grass is much less scary) and he's got it!!! YAY!!! I am SO PROUD of him, and not just for figuring out how to ride a bike, but for getting over his fear just enough to try again.......that people is enough to make my heart burst with pride! :)

Oh and of course I was out there full force with the camera taking as many shots as I could as he whizzed past!

We've also had a visitor staying with us this week, his name is Jack, and he's very well behaved!!!Doesn't he have the cutes little face?? We're watching him until Sunday then we have to drop him off at a kennel because we're heading out camping for the week!
