Busy Fingers

This past weekend Love Is In The Details had an on-line crop always so much fun!! The paper & adhesive was flying and there was even a little bra & panty action! I know you thinking "WHAT" bra's & panties?? Let me explain, Lori loves to play this fun little game of giving us 3 items that she finds at the dollar store.....and yest bra & panties are often included....it's a hoot! Now some of the ladies were brave enough to use the full pieces on their layouts, me well I love the challenge of getting creative and figuring out how I can transform them. This time around I was the lucky receiver of half a black bra, a little doll like figure and a lady bug......here is the result:




I kept the doll intact because well she's cute and as soon as I saw her I knew I wanted to use this photo of my little Sami and Mom from Christmas 2003. Now can you find the bra?? LOL The black 'flower' is part of it, not bad for using a bra huh?

For this one we had to use 'don't let the diapers fool you, I'm the boss around here.' What a fun title!! I choose this photo of me & my brothers because as my Mom tells me when I was little they'd do anything for me so they wouldn't have to listen to me cry!! Boy did I have them wrapped around my little finger.....too bad it didn't last long though.

One of the challenges was for Scrap Pink an extremely worthy cause, Lori is donating $5.00 for every layout completed......at this point a total of $135. I don't know any one who hasn't had their lives touched by breast cancer or any other form of cancer. My Mom's grandma lost her life to breast cancer, my Dad's mom also was affected by it. I even got Sami involved, she's quite the little scrapper, here's her layout....

The big Z had hockey tryouts this weekend...still waiting to see if he'll be going again on Thursday. I hope he makes the team, well 1 of the 3 anyway...wish him luck!!! Also Sami went for her first Ringette practice, oh she was so cute dressed in all that gear!
