I took this week off from all things that could be considered work and played most of the week at my scrap table!! Hmm having said that I didn't actually accomplish much at the scrap table either.......oh well it was a quiet lazy week, we all need those once in a while right?!
Our deep freeze has broken for now and we're above normal temps....aahhh it's so nice, but I doubt it will last long! So for anyone that has the Winter Blahs here's a little sunshine to cheer you up! :)
Over at LIITD, Eva has been kindly teaching us about photography, finally someone explained ISO in plain English!!! Now I just need a tripod to use it! She's also been giving us weekly photo challenges, it's great fun to see what everyone comes up with! This week's challenge is to photograph pattern, here are two that I snapped today!
This first one is of the sweet grass weave basket that I picked up from the sweetest woman in Charleston, SC. The shells are all ones I found on the beach while I was there too!
This second photo is of a Ukrainian Easter egg that my Baba had done. Her eggs were always exquisite and detailed. She actually made an egg with the Lord's Prayer on it, unbelievable!
That's all for today, I'm hitting the scrap table again.......because you know those Christmas decorations can wait a few more days! ;)

hi Lisa, love your LO, I think I have all those pps! Great idea with the photos, too, that would really make you think about the patterns you're using in your work, I guess. But what have you got to do with your Christmas decs? (I hesitate to ask...lol!)x
