Much Ado About Nothing

I spent a wonderfully quiet night at home with my family for New Years....it was exactly what I wanted!!! We played games, watched a movie, pigged out, and all 3 chicklets managed to see the New Year ring in!!

I'm looking forward to 2009, a much happier year, a year of knowing myself better and knowing when to brush off the bad stuff!!! It's already looking brighter, we're all healthy here after getting rid of the flu we had over Christmas, aaaannd I feel my Mojo finally returning after a much too long vacation!!

One of the members over at Love Is In The Details has started up a 'trash your stash' challenge, no we're not throwing our stash away!! The challenge is to do 20 layouts with what we have in our stash now!! I can totally do this, heck I could do this with just my scraps!! LOL Here is my first stash layout based on a sketch by Chelsea at Love Is In The Details, now most of this is not particularly old stash, but still it was begging to be used!!

Last year I joined the challenge at BPS to do a layout a day for January....amazingly I did it!! It was great fun and I loved it!!! So this year I think I'll challenge myself not to do one a day, but do at least 20 layouts for the month of January....it's dooable!!

My other scrappy goal this year is rather than buying so many consumable products, I'm going to focus on building my die stash for my Sizzix...much better use of my $$!!!

That's it for tonight, I think I'll hit the table again while the mojo is hot!
