I hope you're up for some total randomness.........
It's Thursday already, where did the rest of the week go? I have gotten nothing accomplished, well not nothing but certainly not much!! I think I'm going to blame it on pre-occupation, I'm gearing up for a scrapping good weekend!!!
So I have discovered this week that a card maker I am not, yeah I can make them, but they just don't bring me as much joy as a layout. And of course that won't stop me from making them, why buy something I can make right, but I will never go into the business of making cards! LOL
One of my fellow SOL dt'ers Helen made this adorable accordion folded butterfly for her layout a couple of weeks ago, and being a total sweetheart she posted the instructions on her blog.....THANK YOU Helen!!! I made one last night, it's quick, easy and oh so cute!! Sorry you're going to have to wait and see it I plan to use it this weekend!!! But if you are dying to make your own head over to Helen's blog!!
What else has been going on this week, well some big news, I'm going back to work!!! Yup after being at home for 4 years with my 3 little chicklets the time has come for me to get back into the workforce! I'm excited, scared, nervous, sad......so many emotions!!! But at least the 2 older kids are excited about going to daycare, they'll be with lots of their friends so they're ok with it. I worry about my little guy though, I'm sure he'll adjust fine, like he did with school.
Lastly but not least, this weekend Love Is In The Details is having an on-line Valentine's crop!!! Woohoo!!! My friend Miranda is coming over Saturday and we're going to scrap and hang out and delve into coffee & sugary treats!!
Of course a post wouldn't be right without a photo, so in honor of Valentine's here is a photo of me & Mike! I played around in Picnik a bit, so many fun options in there and great if like me you don't have photo shop!!
