Finally we have been getting some summer weather......I swear it's like we had gone from winter straight to fall. I hope the warm weather sticks around and the sun comes out to play a little more!
It's hard to believe that yet another year of school is almost done and the kids will be out for the summer. I have some vacation time coming soon and we're hoping to go on our annual family camping trip, let's hope mother nature cooperates!
New challenge is up a Scrapping Out Loud, this week it's a color challenge, use brown, blue & white/cream!! I cheated a tiny bit and added a little orange...couldn't resist! ;)
I spent Saturday in Miami, MB cropping with a great bunch of ladies, we had so much fun, the day was full of laughter, great food, amazing friends, shopping and a little scrapping too!! Lori is the the greatest hostess there is!! I managed to get a couple pages done, pretty sad really, but what the heck I had so much fun it doesn't matter! Here's a layout I did using the sketch provided at the crop.
I also have a new challenge up at LIITD, the challenge is to use a transparency with your die cuts. On my layout I used a Fancy Pants transparency that I've been hoarding for so long...not sure why since I have two! LOL I made the frame around the 3rd photo as well as the star. Once I cut the shapes out I also used my Cuttlebug embossing folders to add a little texture.
It's going to be a long week, I have to work Sunday as well this weekend to make up for having last Saturday off......but it's totally worth it!

Wow, you were productive at the crop! I never get more than 1 page doe because I talk too much. Glad you used up your transparency that you have been holding off on. Sorry you have to work this weekend. I'm right there with you though! Hope weather holds up for your camping trip.
