There's a new challenge blog in town....Simon Says Stamp & Show....all the challenges are inspired by Tim Holtz, Wendy Vecchi and anything vintage.
This week the challenge is to create anything Lord Tim of the Holtz Inspired. I was so excited when I saw this challenge I just had to play along...how could I not....just look at that prize!! ;)
Now I don't know if it was the excitement or if I was over thinking this challenge all week but it seems that my mojo had gone on vacation and left me behind. But I wasn't giving up, last night I pulled out a little canvas I picked up at the dollar store and just started playing. I had no distinct vision for what this canvas would be or what the end result was...and you know what I had a blast!!!
I inked with my distress ink, I pulled out the crackle paint, the distress embossing powders, distress stickles, alcohol ink and just had fun creating!
The end result.....a little art canvas!!
Now I'll always have a reminder that the mojo doesn't have to be fully charged in order to create art!!

I really like the edge effect that you created with the crackle paints and ink - really makes the entire canvas POP!
