Stamp an Embellishment

Hello there bloggers!  The newest challenge at Counterfeit Kit is to stamp an embellishment.  I love this challenge it really opens up so many creative possibilities to really make your layout/card/project special and unique.

I couldn't wait to scrap this photo of Sami from the first day of school, it's so hard to believe she's in grade 4 already.

The little boy/girl reading the book image was stamped using Ranger Archival ink, then I colored it with some water color pencils.  This image was perfect for the layout, Sami regularly has her nose in a book.  I also added some stamps on the red tag, and the background paper.

I hope you'll come out and join us for this stamptastic challenge!  Be sure to hit the CKC blog and see all the fun embellishments the DT made!

Really pretty layout, Lisa! The photo of your daughter is lovely! I love the little touches you used (small strips of paper...the book stamp).

Your stamp came out cute and looks great on your page!I love how you colored the image with watercolor pencils. I've been seeing that method and also using gelatos as watercolors recently, and it makes me want to go get some so I can play, too.
