CKC September Kit

Fall is almost here, the kids are heading back to school tomorrow and life starts to get quite a bit busier in our house.  With the change of season I knew it was time for me to say goodbye to Counterfeit Kit, so this will be my last month as a Master Forger.  I have really enjoyed working with all the members of CKC, and watching all the wonderful kits pulled together by our followers. 

This month we have taken our inspiration from one of Sweet Peach Crop Shop's past kits from September 2010, you can view the kit here.

I used the Juicy Themed kit as my inspiration, here is the kit I pulled together....

June Counterfeit Kit

I am so behind, where has this week gone to...it's already Wednesday!!!  Well at least that means it's almost the weekend again!

This month at Counterfeit Kit our inspiration came from a new kit club called Burlap and Buttercups!

The kit was full of Basic Grey, so I just had to dig through my BG stash to see what I could come up with for my kit!

All the papers are from Basic Grey, along with the paper ribbons & wheels.  I also pulled out some Heidi Swapp chipboard hearts, some Elle's Studio tags and a Maya road kraft envelope.

May Counterfeit Kit

The Counterfeit Kit inspiration for May is by Work In Progress (WIP)! This kit was released on April 15th and is sold out all ready.....all the more reason to Counterfeit it!

Here is the WIP kit.

I really liked the bright reds, greens & yellows in this kit so I went with that and added a bit more of a masculine feel to it.

April Counterfeit Kit Reveal!

I'm very excited about my first reveal as a Master Forger for Counterfeit Kits!!

This month we choose a kit from a brand new kit club, Front Porch Kits! What a fantastic first kit for this new club, be sure to keep an eye on them, this one sold out the first day!!

I didn't have any of the papers in this kit so I decided to match up the colors & patterns best I could from my own stash......wasn't too hard and totally fun!!! I love this color combo, these are all colors I love to use! Here is a look at my kit....

I haven't even had a chance to dig into this yet....still catching up on everything since returning from vacation (which I will post more about later). I am going to a crop on Saturday so I'll be sure to dig in then, if not before! ;)

Honey & Broom Grass

Today is reveal day over at Love Is In The Details, where the Creative Team showed off all their amazing designs with the May Kit ~ Honey & Broom Grass!!!!

When Pink Paislee first released the Queen Bee line I was on the fence...not sure if I would love it or not. Once the kit arrived and I got my first peek I was amazed and in love with Queen Bee!!! I'm so glad Lori choose this for the May kit!!

Here are a couple of my designs:

I had just enough of the Pink Paislee pleated ribbon left to make this adorable little flower!

On this layout I pulled out my new Tim Holtz Sizzix Die - Heart Wings....I used all the pieces here but the wings, crown & swirly heart are all separate from each other, I love that I can use them in so many ways!!!

I have one more little project on the go with the kit, ran into some technical difficulties so it's not quite ready yet....but I'll share it later this week!

Songs of Spring

Today at Love Is In The Details the Creative Team is revealing their work with the April Kit - 'Songs of Spring'!!!

This kit is so fun, full of bright cheery colors that are perfect for spring!!

This little mini canvas is by MME, it was a great little find from Micheal's and perfect timing too!

Can you spot the new Tim Holtz dies on this one? I just picked them up yesterday from Lori and I'm in looooooove!!! There are still some left HERE, with more on the way!!!

Spring Is Here!

Spring seems to have arrived very early here, even though we did get a touch of snow last night, but it's all melted now! I can see my tulips starting to sprout....hopefully it won't be long before I'm enjoying an array of beautiful flowers!

These spinner cards are way bigger than I thought they would be!! I decided it was perfect for the cover of a mini! :)
