A moment to breathe!!

Things are busier than ever around here, I was looking at the calender to try and schedule a haircut for myself....not a single day free for the next week or so. But hockey & ringette will be coming to an end soon, which will give us a little more time on the weekends!

The sunday reveal at Love Is In The Details was all about Valentine's day and making a RAK for someone special! I made these little boxes for my kiddos and filled them up with sugary treats!

Of course they loved them......they were filled with candy after all!! LOL

Last weekend we also hosted our annual Month of Love Online Crop...if you haven't had a chance to join us there's still time..you have until Sunday to finish up all the challenges!

Here are a couple of things I made for my crop challenges.

When Sean was younger he always had to get in real close to the camera when I was trying to take pictures....so cute, and made for some really great photos, and a lot of really blurry ones! LOL

I hope you had a sweet Valentine's full of love & chocolate!!

Harvest Ball

This past Saturday was the Love Is In The Details Harvest Ball Crop in Miami, Manitoba. I headed out on Friday to help Lori set up for the crop. It always amazes me how Lori thinks of the tiniest details!

We had a full house on Saturday, there were 72 croppers!!!! This was the biggest one ever, and was it a full house!

The food was delicious as always, and Lori had lots of little surprises for the croppers....and one big surprise too (but I won't spill the beans about that yet).

I spent the day Saturday doing a demo, it was lots of fun and all the ladies were great. I even had a few competing for the Best Student spot....LOL

This time I managed to remember my camera, but forgot to take photos until the end, so all I got was a couple photos of the display I set up on my demo table and a photo of the project we did. Oh well, I'm sure some of the other ladies will share their photos with me. ;)

We created a mini canvas, the canvas is about 2"x2" and so cute and fun to work with. We covered the canvas with pages from an old Readers Digest...I did not read the pages before putting them in the kits...but as the ladies were pulling them out they were reading and laughing. Let's just say some of the content was really funny! Once we had the canvas covered, distressed, stamped and inked we moved on to making the paper rose. Everyone did great and had lots of fun!

Now we'll rest up a bit....but not for long before we start planning the Spring crop!!! Actually as I was driving home from this one I was already designing he name tags! LOL

Saturday I spent the day in Miami, MB scrapping & laughing with my friends from LIITD.....I was so giddy all day...I think it was a lack of sleep! LOL

Sunday we revealed the kit, Ticket To Ride..and I tell you the other ladies from the Creative Team blow me away each month with what they create!! Here are a few of my creations:

Also on Sunday we had our 2 week online crop!!! I love how excited and chatty everyone gets on Crop day!!! Actually there was so much going on I didn't even hit the scrap table...oops! LOL

Here are the layouts and card I made for my challenges!

Not only did I get to spend lots of time scrapping and hanging with my friends....Mike totally shocked & surprised me with some chocolates for Valentine's Day!!! Seriously I think this is the first time in the 10+ years we've been together that he's given me anything for VDAY!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!!! It's not too late to join us at Love Is In The Details for our online crop, the deadline is Feb 28th!

Quiet Sunday

So far this is turning out to be a great weekend!!! Not only that but it's a long weekend for me since I start my new shift at work next week....which means I'll be working Saturdays....booo!

Yesterday I spent the day cropping, eating, shopping & laughing.....all in all a pretty perfect day! I managed to get 4 layouts done, not a huge amount but pretty good!!! Unfortunately you're all going to have to wait to see 3 of them.......this is the only one I can show you!

To make up for the lack of layouts, I'm going to share with you all a sneak peek of Love Is In The Details May kit!!! YAY!!!

I think we all know that National Scrapbooking Day is May 2nd.....be sure to head over to LIITD and join us for Part 1 of our online crop! Part 2 of the crop will take place on May 9th.......and there my be a little anniversary sale in between!!
